🧳Packing & Prep
Weather: Fall in Seoul can be cold and rainy. However, the dates of your trip look like it will be chilly in the mornings, in the 60's in the afternoons, and sunny. Make sure to keep an eye on the weather as you get closer!
Pack layers and comfortable walking shoes! You may be out away from the hotel all day, so make sure you are ready to walk all day and have layers so you are comfortable all day long.

Day 1: Monday, Oct 20
🌅 Morning: Gyeongbokgung Palace
Grab a breakfast and coffee and then walk over to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Rent Hanbok (around $15 USD) from any of the shops nearby. Renting Hanbok makes your rental free. Guided palace tours in English are at 11AM and 1:30PM.
☀️Afternoon
After returning your Hanbok, walk to the Hanok villages of Ikseon-Dong and Bukchon. Grab lunch and walk around here and Insa-Dong. There are plenty of spots to shop and eat in these areas.
🌙Evening
Head back to Myeongdong to drop any bags you have at the hotel. Dinner will be at the Michelin-recommended Kyoja. If you want dessert, walk around the Myeongdong Night Market to grab a sweet treat and pop into the shops (open late) around here.
Day 2: Tuesday, Oct 21
🌅 Morning
Take the train to the area near the War Museum to grab a pastry and coffee (see coffee recommendations at the end of itinerary). The War Museum opens at 9:30AM. (I recommend getting there at opening time to have the museum to yourself as it will get busy later).
☀️Afternoon
Walk back to the area where you had breakfast or take the trail up to Seoul Station for lunch. Seoul station has some great shopping as well. If you aren't up for shopping, go check out the Starfield Library or Namsan Tower.
Or, take the train back to Myeongdong to visit the Hello Kitty Cafe for a pastry and a little drink.
🌙Evening
Take the train to the Gwangjang Night Market, one of the most famous in the city. You can get both dinner and dessert here. There are some different options than the Myeongdong Night Market and is definitely worth visiting.
Day 3: Wednesday, Oct 22
🌅 Morning
Take the bus or an uber to the Gangnam area for your Spa Lei Korean bath appointment at 9am. You may want to bring a swimsuit to this appointment, as you have a full body scrub and a massage scheduled here, as well as some free time in the baths to prep for the massage and scrub.
☀️Afternoon
Get lunch and a pick-me-up coffee. Then head to your face analysis and facial at Muse Spa in Gangnam. This appointment is at 1PM and will take about 2 hours in total. When you are done, Cafe Onhwa is a great spot around the corner to get a coffee and pancake before your hair appointment. Your scalp analysis, hair treatment, and haircut at Juno Hair is at 4:30PM.
🌙Evening
To finish off this day of treating yourself, it is time for a Korean BBQ dinner! There are several spots for KBBQ both in Myeongdong if you want to eat near the hotel and in Gangnam if you are hungry after your hair appointment.

📚Other Important Information
Language: Getting around as an English-speaker is relatively easy in Seoul. Most people know English, but a smile goes a long way if not! The most common phrases you will need are below:

Navigation: Google Maps and Apple Maps are not very useful when trying to navigate, especially via train. Download Naver to navigate through the city.
Train card: You can buy a T-money card at any convenience store and reload them there as well. Note: All T-money transactions must be done in cash.
Charging converter required: Seoul uses Type C and Type F power outlets. Make sure to pack your converter!
Money conversion: $1 USD is about ₩1,500 Korean Won (as of fall 2025)
